The White House Estate Experiences

Being surrounded by some of the most breathtaking highland scenery, the diverse landscape offers both adults and kids a natural playground for adventures. Embrace the joys of the countryside surrounded by modern comforts and beautiful scenery.

Fishing the River Aros

The River Aros is 5 miles long and is an idyllic spate river with an abundance of wildlife.

It flows through the attractive countryside of Glen Aros down to the estuary mouth by the Aros Bridge.

Heavy rain can produce a run of sea trout in June, and salmon will run during late June, July, August, September and occasionally October if there has been little rain in the previous months. There are 22 pools in all, and the river is divided into Upper and Lower beats.

If you would like the opportunity to fish this unique river during your stay, please contact us for further information.

Wildlife

Explore miles of stunning coastline with incredible wildlife. In recent decades, the Isle of Mull has earned an enviable reputation as the premier wildlife tourism destination in the British Isles.

Thousands of birdwatchers and wildlife lovers flock to Mull every year, hoping to catch a glimpse of the celebrated birds and animals. From Dolphins, Red Deer, and Puffins to Otters and Wales, many of which can be seen without even leaving the estate.

Explore Tobermory

Tobermory is the main town on the island of Mull. The port, with its colourful harbour-front buildings, was the setting of the children's TV show Balamory. Tobermory is home to the Mull Museum, crammed with information about the history of Mull and its people. In the village is art gallery and live music venue An Tobar and also the Mull Theatre, which puts on a variety of plays and comedies.

Whisky Tours

Tobermory Distillery is in the centre of the vibrant island community, from which they take its name. They are a thriving, expressive and unique distiller, true to their idyllic Hebridean home.
